“I am most proud of being a part of an organization that focuses on children,” said Colleen Blache, Assistant Finance Director of the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Pittsfield. “In the finance office, we do not actually have contact with the children, but we feel our efforts in maintaining the club financially play an important part in its overall success.”

In particular, Colleen is proud of how the club supports children who may have challenges in their family lives. “I feel our staff provides the needed security and stability that some of these kids are lacking at home. Our goal is to enrich their lives with the tools they will need to be confident, successful members of our society.”
