Kirt Goines

Youth of the Year – 2008

At the club:

Beginning at age 6, Kirt played basketball for the House League and All-Star teams, attended Camp Russell and volunteered there. He also was employed by the club as a gym supervisor. At Taconic High School, Kirt was a member of the basketball and track and field teams; was a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions and the Business Professionals of America. He was also president of the student senate.

Now:

Goines attends the University of New Haven and is an accounting major with a minor in biology. He works at Dick's Sporting Goods.
