“I enjoyed being able to swim in addition to all of the other events and activities that the club offered,” said Frank S. Ostrander, recalling some of his best memories of the Pittsfield Boys’ and Girls’ Club when he was a member as a boy. Today, Frank serves as Facilities Manager, taking pride in the environment at both the club and at Camp Russell. “The building is clean, safe and continues to improve for future use,” he said. “The structured activities, as well as its flexible schedule, are among the club’s many benefits. Kids can take advantage of computers, swimming, basketball, skating, carpentry – even child care for parents in our community.”
