Kim Tomashek recalls that as a teen, the club provided a place to gather with friends in a fun and positive social environment. After obtaining a degree in business, graduating from an entrepreneur training program, working in family businesses and operating one of her own, Kim is now finance director of the Pittsfield Boys’ and Girls’ Club.

From the vantage point of an adult, she now sees a deeper meaning in the benefits that the club brings to its members. “The club enables and inspires youth to become productive, responsible and healthy members of our community,” she aid. “The club welcomes every child. I am proud to work for an organization that truly cares about children, families and their employees.”
