“I used to skate when the club was open to the public, though I was never a member because it wasn't open to ladies years ago,” said Joan Williams, a Lead Teacher in the Boys’ and Girls’ Club’s Children’s Center.

To Joan, among the club’s benefits is its location in the heart of Pittsfield, and the full range of activities available for boys and girls of all ages. “I am most proud of helping and watching the children grow and develop into happy little boys and girls,” she said. “It is gratifying to make a difference by giving one of our little ones a hug.”
